Linda,

If I said it was a repair, I didn't mean to. It was a "clean-up" or removal of the loose pieces. No crutches. But it was a substantial tear - about 1 1/4 inches was ripped to shreds.

He gave me the orthoscopic pictures - before and after - for my scrapbook, I guess.

You have my sympathy

Hi Lexy, you have my sympathy. I've had a ton of surgery and the few days after is always the worst. I always seem to be in more pain about 48-72 hours after the event, so keep that pain medicine up

Hang in there and do some scrapbooking. I have just started scrapping and I am in awe at all of the wonderful layouts you can do etc etc and the embellishments and ribbons etc that are around.

Rest up and take care!

Lexy, I'm completely ignorant on this subject, but take care of yourself and keep us posted on your recovery!

Oh, Lexy, I'm sorry to hear that you've been through so much. I don't have any great advice, but lots of cyberhugs are going your way.

Lexy, here's some {{{{{{{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

Now take it easy and rest up...don't be in too much of a hurry to get back into the classroom...are you seeing your doctor to be released to go back to work???? Where I work, we have to go through that. The people who handle our disability (short or long term) don't want us returning to work without a note stating we are released from the doctor?

I had a torn meniscus back in July and it seems to have mended alright...but the doctor who treated me never ruled out surgery. We'll see...but you take it easy and let yourself mend.

Joe, XXXXXXXXX to you

Lexy,
Ugh! I hope you feel better soon! I think you should wait until Monday to go back. No need to rush!

Yo Lexy!

I think you should take the rest of the winter off and go back March 21 (that's a Monday). Relax, enjoy, catch up on daytime TV and spend your mornings doing your favorite workouts!

Those doctors always have a different view on what's "minor." Hope you recover quickly, but I definitely think you need some time OFF!
