I found the Body Pump Gym!!!

Hi everyone

I am safely arrived in New Zealand, and spent most of yesterday doing a massive wandering-around of downtown Hamilton City and environs. And what should I come across, in a little strip mall beside an organic food store? A gym with the Body Pump Logo emblazoned ont he door at massive size! I went in to enquire, and this is in fact Les Mills' gym. He has a main one in Auckland and a satellite one here. The lady at the desk had no idea that there was a video or if more were available (I asked) and no idea if any of the teachers at this gym had been in the video. But when I described the video to her, she said that sounds exactly like what a live class would feel like. They only charge $13 per class for casual users. I MUST go!!!

You've made an excellent choice. I was in NZ the first time in 1963, and visited again in 2002. An energetic and hospitable country indeed.

Can't wait to hear your reports from the original BodyPump location. The leader on my BodyPump video is Dr. Jackie Mills, definitely a woman. I'd love to do a live class.
