Oh My God! This brought back some scary memories. In junior high I was in a dance group called the "Thunderettes" (I know, awful in itself!), and the sponsor/teacher of this group must have watched this video. We did a lot of goofy dance numbers that were inspired by some moves in this video. I remember one dance specifically that was done in the dark. We had empty plastic milk gallon jugs attached to flashlights we held. We had to turn our flashlights on and off in synchronicity with each other and the music while dancing around. I hope a video of our dance doesn't exist anywhere!

I want it too! I found Let's Jazzercise (1983) on you tube and tried it this morning. I liked it. A lot!

I know I'm really old when there is someone who says they don't know who she is or what Jazzersize is. I think they still have Jazzersize classes in the building where my wax lady is. LOL

I finally watched the clip, and it was hilarious, but the you tube comments were even funnier. Someone said at 3:29 it sounds like really bad porn

On another note, it looks like she got some good moves in these workouts. Her voice is quite annoying.....and it takes a lot to annoy me when it comes to workout videos

It's so over the top, even SNL couldn't parody it! (and yes, I've seen the awesome Drew Barrymore parody of '80s workout videos).

That said, I really like the next-generation Jazzercise videos. Dancin' Abs is one of my favorite dance workouts right now. Judi's daughter is a pleasant instructor, and I really like her co-instructor.

Maybe not, but I think this version is hysterical:

Yes, the clips crack me up! But I also like some of the Jazzercise newer offerings.

I have that Jazzercise workout. It does use a step and tubing. I haven't done it in decades but I remember it being fun. I think that was the point of Jazzercise. I also have two of the newer DVDs that stars her daughter. I like them for fun lighter days. Two years ago, I tried some live Jazzercise classes. They were o.k. but I prefer Zumba so I only tried a few Jazzercise classes because of a Groupon special.

Garrie, thanks for sharing. I have Tough Tape and Body ART and they are gems.
