Thanks for the review.
I really wanted to purchase this set, but im disappointed to hear there isnt much lower body toning. Maybe if the price comes down, i will consider getting it.

OLD Thread alert!

Mary has this set on sale for $9.95. I was wondering if anyone else has this set and would like to share their opinions? Thank you!

Hi Sherry!

Some commentary on Project Hope can be found in this thread. My thoughts haven't changed since then. I still think this is a great beginner/restarter set. I've never done a full rotation, though, and recently pulled out the Challenge Abs, which I think is a perfect add-on. For me, the only cons are the lack of lower body work and the sound. I have to crank up the volume in order to hear the music.

I have the set. Bought it earlier this year from ebay. There is a balance challenge on the first disc that is the best in my collection. Haven't done enough of the rest to review it for you; but I'm keeping it.

Sherry - the one I see is $10.99 - is it the same one you're talking about?

Yes, it is. Oops, I posted the wrong price.

Cynthia - I'm always looking for good balance workouts. Could you compare this balance challenge to any of Jane Adams'?

I bought this at Ollie’s last year for about $5. I only did each workout once but I always write notes about the workouts on the covers. This is what my notes say:

Month One has 3 workouts. Cardio is 20 minutes, good 80’s music. Toning is 16 minutes, upper body only, single joint movements. Balance is 12 minutes.

Month Two has 3 workouts. Cardio is 25 minutes, dance music, just ok. Toning is 16 minutes, upper body with minimal lower body movement. Abs is 11 minutes with lots of rest breaks.

Month Three has 3 workouts. Cardio is 30 minutes, some high impact, good disco music. Toning is 16minutes, upper body only, combo moves like rows and triceps. Endurance workout is 17 minutes, high rep upper body with weights.

All of Richards’s workouts are beginner/low intermediate in my opinion. He is, as always, very encouraging and sweet.
