I actually finished The Tattooist of Auschwitz. It wasn't my favorite but I finished it. It did require one to suspend disbelief to make it work.

I haven't read Dave Barry in years. I'll have to pick this one up.

I recently listened to My Name is Lucy Barton by Elizabeth Strout in anticipation of reading Anything is Possible which is kind of a sequel and prequel at the same time. I liked Anything is Possible (for my book group) better but that may be because I didn't care for the narrator of Lucy Barton.

I also listened to The Line Becomes a River by Francisco Cantu about his time working on the Border Patrol and the history of immigration from Mexico through the border. It was very good.

I am recovering from foot surgery so theoretically I should have plenty of time to read but am mostly reading the news and binge watching Netflix shows that I never get a chance to watch. However I did start to read "Death in The Air" by Kate Winkler Dawson about the Great London smog of 1952 and a serial killer that was striking at the same time in the city.

I picked up "My Lovely Wife" by Samantha Dowling from the library. It is psychological suspense.

I'm going through a psychological thriller stage, and it's all audio books due to my need to multi-task. Recent "reads" were The Mother-In-Law and The Last Time I Saw You. I'm currently listening to I Know Who You Are.

I'm also reading some non-fiction books for work, but nothing too exciting.

You may like "The Better Sister" and "The First Mistake."

We probably get the same suggestions from Amazon.

Just finished Naomi Novik's Uprooted. I have another novel of hers, Spinning Silver up next. These are YA rewrites of fairy tales, but (this one, at least) was a good deal darker than a fairy tale and had some s3xual content. I enjoyed it, though.

I just finished The High Tide Club, and it was very enjoyable. On deck is The River.

I’m wondering who the authors are of some of these books? When I look them up I’m finding numerous books with the same title. Specifically the psych suspense books. ??
