I think that's all-I really enjoy her books.

Have you ever read the author Luanne Rice? They are also family saga type books set in the south. You may enjoy her also.
Thank you for the recommendations. And the new author to check out. I am into The Stolen Marriage...was up pretty late; just did not want to stop.

Yep, your recommendation got me started on Elizabeth Berg books, Sherry and I’m very grateful because I’ve really enjoyed her books.

I have suggested so many authors here that I can't keep track I am glad you are really enjoying her books. I have to finish the psychological suspense book I am reading (The Final Girls) and then I will start on Elizabeth Berg.

Gladgirl, you might want to check the author Rosalind Noonan. I think she is similar to Diane Chamberlain.

You may also like Heather Gudenkauf and Amy Hatvany.

I finished The Ragged Edge of Night by Olivia Hawker. I thought it was a historical fiction, but at the end the author notes it is a true story.

The setting is a small village in Germany during WWII, so the book is not all unicorns and rainbows. That said, it is my best book of 2018. Trepidation, tension, hope, fear, love, sorrow, victory.

So I finished Who Do You Love this past weekend. I liked it, but I didn't love it as much as I did in the very beginning; the characters just changed too much to me. Also, what is it with EVERY author (seemingly ) needing to do point-of-view changes??? I tend to find this annoying, and they were even more so in this book, which started with first-person female and then shifted to third person male.

Next up is a review book, Professor Chandra Finds His Bliss. I read just a few pages last night and it feels fun so far; it's supposed to appeal to fans of The Rosie Project, which I read recently and loved. I am also thinking about reading one of my holiday short story collections. I have Maeve Binchy's This Year It Will Be Different and Connie Willis's Miracle and Other Christmas Stories--both are great and have been read frequently.

Thanks for the new list. Whee!

I'm so excited for the new Alan Bradley. I haven't read much in recent months, but I'm looking forward to this.

Oh, and for those of us who still aren't reading e-books, Lois McMaster Bujold's The Prisoner of Limnos is coming to hardback on Jan. 31. (It's been out in e-book form for quite a while, but I make myself wait.)

I picked up "Then She Was Gone" by Lisa Jewell from the library. It is a two week loan, so I will read it before anything else I have in my TBR pile.

I read a few holiday themed books in December-nothing outstanding. Those are always quick, light reads.

I finished "Dark Place to Hide" by AJ Waines which is British psychological suspense and was enjoyable. It was slightly drawn out, but I liked the author.
