I’m reading Housekeeping by Marilynne Robinson. I loved her Gilead series.

I just started a relatively recently Jennifer Weiner book, Who Do You Love. It's been awhile since I read anything of hers; I like this a lot so far.

I finished The Dream Daughter over the weekend. It was different from Diane Chamberlains's other offerings, and I enjoyed it, but I am a sucker for time travel. I think I will re-read The Time Traveler's Wife at some point.

I'm on to another YA fantasy - Rose & Thorn - a re-telling of Sleeping Beauty, a sequel of sorts to the Cinderella Fantasy I just finished (Ash & Bramble).

In addition to time travel, I am also a sucker for fairy-tale re-tells.

Hi Donna - I too like time travel or time manipulation stories. I checked out The Dream Daughter just now and am so excited to read it. Hopefully it's at the local library, if not, I may just have to buy it! Do you have any others you particularly liked?

I finished "Not that I Could Tell" by Jessica Strawser. It was very absorbing and I did not see the ending twist coming. I am working on finishing "Final Girls" before reading anything else.

Beth, I think I liked the Jennifer Weiner book. I borrowed it from my library when it was released.

I should start some of the holiday books I have not read yet, but I am not in the mood quite yet.

Tammy, have you read "Night of Miracles" by Elizabeth Berg? I forget if you liked her or Anita Shreve or both authors? Or is my memory wrong. I borrowed it from my library.

Sherry, I loved Night of Miracles! I read that first and then went back and read The Story of Arthur Truluv; I liked that too but liked the second one better.

Beth, I am glad to see a positive review. Thank you! I have less patience for giving books a chance nowadays.

I like when Jennifer Weiner makes references to Princeton in her books since I live near there.

Sherry

Did someone last month want suggestions for Diane Chamberlain books? I need to look those up. I forget who asked.

Sherry, that's funny--part of the reason I picked up WDYL is because one of the main characters is from Philly! I have enjoyed those references so far.
