I just finished Glass Houses by Louise Penny.

It's a good one, but structurally it alternates between points in time, and at first I found it confusing. Once I caught on to what she was doing I had less trouble.

Yes, that's the one.

I wish that this series weren't sometimes so dark, I'd reread more often. I love the humor.

(and I do get it, if it were just a funny-cozy series I probably wouldn't care about the characters nearly as much, and would probably have given up on it by now. The fact that things get so serious keeps me worried that something bad might happen (again). )

I just got Louise Penny A Great Reckoning at the library on Saturday, along with Class Mom (Gelman), Someone to Watch Over Me (Sigurdardottir) and Beneath a Scarlet Sky (Sullivan). I'm reading The Snowman on Overdrive....I'm very late to the Jo Nesbo party. I just finished The Right Side, by Spencer Quinn, and it was excellent. DD is reading it now and enjoying it as well. I've also started Wonder because I want to use it as a class novel with my 4th graders. I'm happy to see there's a new Harlan Coben book coming out. Already put it on hold at the library.

Any chance the title might be this one:
Why Buddhism is True: The Science and Philosophy of Meditation and Enlightenment
https://www.amazon.com/Why-Buddhism-.../dp/1439195455

Asking because this one intrigues me, but also I haven't looked into it much further (Plus there's a new edition of something by Pema Chodron coming out tomorrow that I already bought. My impulse control was bad the other day ... . )

Was this a biography? I'm a big fan of his.

And by the way, you live in one of my favorite areas of the US, second only to Hawaii! (I'm Canadian)
