Thanks for all the recs for Persuasion . I think I will make that my next read.

You know, I'm thinking that maybe I should revisit Wuthering Heights. Did not like it. Thought every character was unlikeable. But maybe I can appreciate it now that I've had more life experience. That first reaction to it though...ugh! Maybe in another 20 years lol!

I tried Wuthering Heights years ago and couldn't do it. (And I love Jane Eyre...maybe I just prefer Charlotte to Emily). I keep thinking I should try it again!

I love Emma, too (Mr. Knightley is one of my favorite Austen men). As someone who was a teen in the 90s, I remember how amazed I was when I realized Clueless was just a modern adaptation of Emma!
