Also, read "Before we were yours" by Lisa Wingate. That was very good!

I liked Winter Garden more than The Great Alone. I didn't hate The Great Alone, but I didn't love it either.

I'm currently reading The History of Bees by Maja Lunde. I like the writing, but I'm trying to figure out how it all comes together......

I recently listened to The Identicals by Elin Hilderbrand. I cannot remember if someone here suggested it or if it was an Audible deal of the day. It was an enjoyable book -- perhaps not very memorable, and sort of slow to start. I kept mixing up the characters at first.

I enjoyed the one (I think just one) book I read by Elin Hilderbrand--I think there might have been "summer" in the title, about a woman battling cancer on Cape Cod.

I might have to try Elin's books - they look like good summer or beach reads. Are they?

Donna, yes in a way, although the one I read wasn't exactly "light" reading.

I am currently reading a book sale novel called The Anatomy of Dreams. It's about lucid dreaming, something that has always intrigued me.

I just started this after finishing Lisa Genova's Every Note Played, so I am moving from one bleak book to another bleak book. I am only reading it so soon, as I need to get it back to the library.

I like it so far, but will need something lighter soon, but I also just got A Woman in the Window from the library. Why do I get all these books at the same time!

Isebelle, I also just finished "Every Note Played" and Kristin Hannah came in from my reserve list also I didn't want to go to another dark book, either. The Kristin Hannah book is interesting, but depressing. I am curious what happens, so I am going to keep reading.

I also read "A Woman in The Window." We must have very similar TBR lists.

Is that the one by Chloe Benjamin? (just asking for a friend)

How is it so far?

Yes it is! I'm not quite halfway through. I'm generally enjoying it, although it shifts back and forth in time, which is one of my novel pet peeves.
