Thanks difit--the new Stephen King will probably be on my summer reading list!

I finished my non-fiction book Shakespeare Saved My Life last night. I have started reading Alignment Matters by Katy Bowman, which I picked up at a used book sale on Friday, but I'll probably also start a novel as well.

Big used book sale this week!

Thanks, dfit ! I have several of those books requested from my library. I need to see if the Sheila O'Flanagan book is being published in the USA, which would be nice. I usually have to order hers from an amazon seller or abebooks.com

I'm so happy to hear your mom enjoyed the book. Totally made my day!

I'm still working on The Dark is Rising sequence and finished The Grey King last night. I'm not usually a huge reader of fantasy, but enjoying this series very much with the beautiful writing and the ties to Celtic mythology.

Has anyone read Kristin Hannah's "The Great Alone?" I just picked it up from my library yesterday. It seems quite depressing and long. Is it worth reading? Thanks!

The Chaperone was excellent. Highly recommended. Now I'm reading Troubles, which is bizarre.

Nooooo! It sounds like another Winter Garden!!!! (I know that some like that book and that's fine. It just happens to be one of my most hated books.)

I just read The Hideaway by Lauren Denton. It was okay for some light reading.

I'd looked at some of Hannah's books " Winter Garden" and the Great Alone" in a used bookstore a few weeks ago. Ended up passing on both of those. Looked and sounded depressing to me.
