How do you do yoga on a plush carpet?

I'm used to puzzle mats on concrete. The carpet feels so weird!

We got new carpet in March and it totally threw my exercise game off, lol. We had minimal padding before; now the floor is super squishy and my mat kept bunching up. I bought a Lifeboard for yoga/balance. http://www.getlifeboard.com I bought mine from Amazon.

It's really great but I don't pull it out as often as I thought. If I had a permanent place to leave it out, I'd love it.

I use a Manduka Pro mat on my carpet - it's heavy enough that it doesn't bunch or shift. Lighter mats do. Balancing is a little harder on carpet - let it be a challenge.
