Hi Pam and everyone!

Now that my hours at work have been cut I should have time to exercise.

I have not watched a single episode of streaming. Before Corona struck I had either been sick or working 60 hours a week.

I probably won't be able to renew but hope to use during this month.

Stay well and be healthy to all!

I'm doing more Essentrics than ever (it's been the best thing for rehabbing my shoulder after surgery, and I'm almost back to full range of motion which is really remarkable) and am especially enjoying Miranda's Season 13 (I tend towards the newer instructors so it's a nice change to focus on Miranda right now). I'd like to try a 1 hour workout several times a week but am not really sure how to combine the shorter workouts. I thought I read somewhere that in the past Miranda has recommended doing a workout twice and wondering how that would work or if a toning workout followed by a more stretch focused workout would be a better way to go. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Glad you’ve had such good results with Essentrics! I’m not sure about doing a CS episode twice, haven’t heard that before. I know people have done two different episodes in a day, one on the morning & one later in the day. I do an hour two or three times a week if I’m teaching or being a student in my friend’s class. Other than that, I do a shorter workouts in between. I usually take two days a week off Essentrics and do other workouts to cross train. I like variety and stringing short workouts together so I also combine Essentrics with cardio & other workouts like Pilates, high rep/low weight toning, & gentle yoga.

I can’t answer that, I stream through the Essentrics website as I have for a long time. I know they have a new app but I’ve never bothered to download it.

Hey ladies,

I know that ETV is available as an AppleTV ap. Not sure about Roku. I've always streamed from their website.

Agreed...love what I have seen from Season 13. Kind of like the old Miranda is back.

As far as doing episodes twice, I suppose you could if you're trying to relieve back pain or some other prescriptive. I will often do an episode and go back to it to look more closely at a trademark combo or listen to Miranda's cuuing. I'd probably not do the workout two days in a row though....as I do think you can overwork muscle groups. If I do two Essentrics workouts, I pick something all standing and pair it with barre or floorwork.

Yep...I'm learning how to teach on Zoom. Not easy!
