I've been following this thread and have been moderately enabled. But Raineth's Holy flaming buns might push me over the edge!

Thank goodness! I might even bite on this one then. Although I probably have plenty of Jane Fonda VHS workouts that do the same moves with the same clothing! Lol! I just don't have any that have a man in a sweat band!

So if the floorwork is 20-25 minutes, what's he do for the other 25 minutes? Abs?

He starts with some aerobics to warm you up (haven't watched it), then he does some push-ups (I fast-forwarded through that), then he does the floorwork and finishes up with some abs (which I also skipped). Soooo...the floorwork is great but I can tell you zilch about all the other stuff!

I ordered this DVD just for the floorwork alone (what can I say, I love doing floorwork!) so I'm really excited about getting it!

To anyone who has done this already: should I start it off with ankle weights, or maybe just no weights at all just to see how tough it is??? For instance, I'll do Iballet floorwork with no ankle weights whatsoever - but for Margaret Richards floorwork, I do use them (albeit very light weight - 2 lbs each at most).

Thanks!

Terri

Thanks, Raineth. I'm primarily interested in the floorwork myself. In fact, this workout has 4.5 stars on Amazon of 113 reviews! And some gave it 4 stars only because it was VHS! They did say that he is totally off when counting reps and that it's sometimes 10 or more reps per side off. Everyone raved about what this one did for their butts though!

So is 25 minutes of floorwork about right? Hard but not gruelingly hard?

I'd say this is pretty darn grueling. I can't imagine using ankle weights

Although I never noticed it was off on the reps - anyone else notice that?

I use #2 ankle weights on nearly every move unless it seems to hurt a knee.

OMG!!! If you can do this with ankle weights, you are the QUEEN!!!
Eventually I could see doing that, but I can't get past the MAJOR burn doing it just the way it is.
If you want my opinion, I'd do it without ankle weights first...ow...

I was browsing around and found this site:
here

They're selling the workout for 17.99 w/ free shipping. I thought Greg was selling it on his own. This other site must be affiliated with him somehow. Is this a good deal? How much did everyone pay for shipping?
