Check-in: 21DFX/RT Dirty Thirty Extreme. Light-ish weights, endurance exercises. Liked everything except renegade rows.

Today DD and I did Rick Bhullar's uplifting walk, and later I did Heather Robertson's Upper Body Strength and Arm Toning workout.

Cynthia, that sounds like the only kind of abs-only workout I would like either. For some reason, I'm ok with renegade rows. I certainly don't like them, but I don't hate them either. I definitely have cardio preferences, though. Like I prefer side-to-side moves like skaters to up-and-down jolty moves like jumping jacks.

Diana, great job with the steps!

Thank you. I would like to average 10,000 a month but I am always just shy of that. Right now I'm at an average of 9814.

weird, I think one of my check in's didn't get posted. anyway barre 3 3o minutes. Trying to get consistent with my eating this Feb. Between Covid and my dad I have gained weight.

Cynthia, glad you are seeing results in the weight front. It is hard!

Diana, great you are doing so well with the steps. Moving each day is so important. I know that just exercising once and that's it isn't enough.

Cheryl, joining you on the anti-jumping jacks front!

Today is day 7 of my 3-week 21DFX real time rotation. It's the yoga session and I'll do it at bedtime.

No workout to report today. I had a lot going on today and now I'm tired. It rained all day today and think that made me more tired. I will usually do something, even if it's late. Not tonight.

Today I did Heather Robertson's Dumbbell Leg Workout for Strength. This morning DD and I did Rick Bhullar's new Guilty Pleasures Walk, which was all 90s hit songs. It was a fast pace and the most challenging so far of his because the moves kept changing. But DD and I enjoyed it because she likes dancing and figuring out moves.

I can't believe it's the end of January! We are supposed to get snow again in the middle of the night here.

Diana, I have been needing a lot of sleep lately. I'm chalking it up to hormones, these times we are in, and early winter nights. It's ok because in these times I don't have to get up at 6 am. So it all works out, I guess!
