thanks for letting us know about Mac Davis and Helen Reddy
 - same age too. i used to sing along to all of Helen's songs whenever they aired on the radio - always in my key like Anne Murray!Karen Voight used to remind me of Helen. Edited to add: i just learned that Helen had covered Mac's hit "I Believe in Music" as a "b-side" before Mac recorded it.

Wow, Helen Reddy and Mac Davis; they bring back such memories. I remember watching the Mac Davis show on TV. They're both so iconic of the 1970's.

I grew up on a steady diet of Van Halen due to 2 older brothers so this hits me hard. RIP Eddie!
