For me I ate regularly but healthy. Never used any protein powders. The only protein/fiber thing I could eat are those fiber one goodies and other foods rich in it.
As for the Barre themed workouts. I say 2-3 times a week I do it for. 20-30 minutes with conjunction to other workouts I do. Therefore I get good results but dont overkill with so much working out. The results were more so muscles leaned in certain parts like my calves, obliques, and arms. Even if its a little definition, its still a result to me

I think 3 maybe 4 times a week is good for me. Though when I use the Ballet Body upper and lower, I was doing 5 or 6 days but that was split. I don't really even like to do the same type of cardio more than 3-4 times a week though. (Mainly simply because I like variety, but I also think it helps ensure different muscles are being used and minimizes overuse).
Sort of on the original topic, it seems that most people I heard of with great results from barre and barre-ish workouts have a pretty healthy or clean diet or work on it at the same time so that is probably a big part of it (whether protein is supplemented or not). Though this is really true of all exercise genres. |
