Definitely sounds like we have different tastes in King! It's been forever since I read "The Monkey's Paw."

I recently read this and liked it a lot. Hope you do too. I thought it would just be a funny book but it was more thought-provoking than I expected.

I agree! So far it's amusing and also thought-provoking.

I just finished listening to Hooked: How Crafting Saved My Life by Sutton Foster, a memoir in which she talks about how crafting and art have helped her deal with tough moments in her life. I really only know her from the "Bunheads" tv show and appearances on The Chew, so had no idea about many of her struggles, including an agoraphobic mother, anxiety and infertility. It was pretty good and she's very down to earth.

I just finished The Second Mrs. Astor by Shana Abe. I really liked it. Historical fiction love story with some Titanic lore mixed in.

I started The Nature of Fragile Things by Susan Meissner. I haven't enjoyed the last couple of hers, but I'm inhaling this one. It has engaged me from the start.
