I second that suggestion. I used to teach beginning levels of tap to children and adults and I felt so sorry for them that they didn't actually "move" very much in class. Your DH could probably learn a lot of steps, rhythms, and combinations and still stay seated. I just checked Amazon and they have many tap instructional DVDs.
