My impressions
Love it!
It is the same white, clean space as in Green Energy, and the color scheme seems to be light blue and yellow. Ana is super blonde, super thin and super beautiful! A lot of it reminds me of FFY - Lose Weight Feel Great for some reason. The whole thing is about 1.5 hours, with the first nearly 40 minutes firmly on the floor. In the floor section, there are spinal flexes and lots of life nerve stretches, over one leg and then both. There are leg lifts, a Sat Kriya, and some new moves, like lying on your front, on your forearms, and kicking your butt with your heels in rhythm one at a time. At one point during a leg lift series Ana says you can use light weights for your arms at the same time. Up until this point you have done the two warm up sets and Happy Hormones Set 1. Now starts Happy Hormones Set 2! You come to a long down dog and then stand, coming into horse stance. You do a little dance in horse stance, then do KY curtsey lunges, and repeat the sequence. At 50 minutes you start a Shake Dance! You basically start with one foot and move the shakes right up your whole body, almost like a belly dance shimmy over your whole body but one part at a time. Then all of a sudden Ana's hair is down and you're shaking and dancing all over. The Shake Dance lasts nearly 10 minutes at which point you move into Deep Relaxation, making the workout portion about one hour. The rest of the DVD is comprised of a Magic Mantra Medley, prayer, breath primer and an alignment tips and benefits section. Overall the DVD is very calm, slow and controlled! It is chaptered and has a maxtrix. I am tempted to do the entire hour workout at once along with a meditation, but it can easily be broken up into either all the floor work or all of the standing/Shake Dance portion.
