What Paper Workouts Would You Like Converted to Video?

Miriam Austin's Yoga for Wimps (2000) and Cool Yoga Tricks (2003). Excellent doable modifications. Cool Yoga Tricks also includes suggestions for progression.

Kathy Smith's Flex Appeal (2004). Fusion of yoga and circular, joint-lubricating belly dance moves. Kathy also did a belly dance DVD workout titled Flex Appeal, but it included just one 10-minute fusion segment that moved much too fast.

Andre Van Lysebeth's Yoga Self-Taught (1968). This series of 10 asanas (Rishikesh series), beginning with shoulder stand and concluding with headstand, followed by Corpse Pose, is all done on the mat, slowly and carefully. (Such a relief from today's over-emphasis on strenuous power yoga!) It's an advanced workout, and if it were ever put on DVD, it should include many modified poses plus all of Andre Van Lysebeth's lists of contraindications.

Alvin Ailey Dance Moves! (2003).
I wish this had also been made into a DVD (or two!) like the NYC Ballet Workout book was.

Every time the subject of paper workouts comes up, I can't help myself from mentioning LL Cool J's Platinum Workout. It's mostly a gym-based workout, but can be done at home as well. I would love to have LL leading a DVD version It would have to be a system, of course, since it's in 4 phases

Lower Body Solution and/or Freestyle type workout. There were some vhs tapes made, but they were more instructional than follow along.

Also, the workouts in the Ultimate You book by Joe Dowdell
