Hi all !!

Yesterday was:

57 minute outdoor walk (afternoon)
50 minute outdoor walk (evening)

I guess I made up for the lost days. DS came over for dinner and we decided to walk afterwards. That was in addition to my usual afternoon walk. I am hoping/planning to walk today.

DONNA, good news on the vaccine front for you and DD. Ours is tomorrow, I'm a little nervous. Sorry to hear the insomnia is still plaguing you.

PAT, nice job with MR. I don't think I've ever attempted Home Improvement though I do own it. Yeah though leotards back then were We had rain for 2 straight days, Sunday and Monday. And I think we have more coming tomorrow, a nor'easter. Maybe you'll get some rain from that?

Hi ROSE & CHRISTINA.

Have a great day!

Good morning all, Happy Thursday! Last evening I walked to the local osprey nest and totaled almost 8,000 steps for the day. Lots of activity! Mom hasn't laid her eggs yet so she is taking advantage of the time to get out and stretch her wings. It seems like Dad is doing the hunting for both while she guards the nest.

I'm also addicted to this osprey cam. So much more activity than eagle or owl cams. Wildlife often flies, swims or wades by in the background.

Summer Breeze I think we are scheduled for much needed rain. While looking at the osprey cam this morning, some snowflakes were breezing by. Sounds like some nice walks for you, especially with DS.

I hope Donna is feeling okay.

Waves to anyone who visits!

Hi Everyone,

Catching up!

So far no real ill effects from my first vaccine other than a sore arm - which was actually less sore than I usually get from the flu shot. It is a tad itchy now, but nothing bad. Yesterday afternoon I started to feel some fatigue but it is hard to know if that was from it being a rainy/dreary day....

Yesterday afternoon at lunch I did:

Pahla B - April Play List - Cardio Abs

And, after work I did:

Jessica Valent - Sciatica Practice and 1st half of the herniated disc practice - both of these are very good for me to do after a long day of sitting.

Today, so far, has been:

Jessica Valent - Barre Pilates Full Body Workout - this was the 40 min version of the practice she posted on You Tube while wearing the light green tights. It was not much different from what she usually does in barre workouts but it was still enjoyable. While she may not be the most exciting instructor around, I find that I always feel better after doing her workouts - sometimes with other instructors I end up tweaking something....but w/ Jessica it seems to work fine for me.

Jesscia Valent - 10 Min routine for back strength - this has similar exercises as in her other back care practices, but it at least provides a little bit of variety and change of outfit to look at, LOL!

It was Leg day on Jessica Smith's WS 1.0 Phase II rotation, but I think I have morped this into Phase III - as I'm following the template, but not necessarily the workout suggestions! LOL!

I hope to walk today...the weather looks better.

Pat - I'm glad you are enjoying your wildlife viewings!!!

Nice job, Summer Breeze!!

Waves, everyone!

Hi all !!

Yesterday was:

49 minute outdoor walk

Not sure about today. They keep changing the forecast so I don't know if or when it's going to rain. I also have the moderna shot this afternoon so I better get going soon if at all.

PAT, love the osprey cam. Oh no on the snowflakes

DONNA, looks like you got your usual variety of workouts done so that's good news. Always a plus to feel better after a workout.

Hi ROSE & CHRISTINA, hope all is well.

Have a great day!

TGIF!!! Good morning everyone! We're having some spring snow here, it's so pretty.

Yesterday I wasn't so active. Audubon asked if I'm interested in adopting another nest and after work I drove around in the rain looking for it. With my map reading dyslexia, the mission was fruitless, but I'm pretty sure of where it is now. Anyway, after that I did the first half of Holden Qigong 04/02/21 and managed 5,000 steps for the day. Lee gave some instructions on how the chi elements interact, and it was another good class for breathing.

Donna, you do seem to be a fan of Jessica V. I'm so happy for you that the effects aren't so bad.

Summer - good luck with that vaccination today.

Hi!

Workouts so far....

Yesterday evening DD and I took a walk - it was a very windy evening! I didn't realize it until we started walking - but we got through it.

Today was Prehab on Jessica's WS 1.0 rotation - so, for my prehab, I did:

Jessica Valent - Herniated Disc Practice, Sciatica Practice and Scoliosis Practice

I hope to walk later today!

Pat - wow, snow? Yes, Jessica Valent seems to work well for me - like I said, she isn't exciting or flashy, but it gets the job done and I usually feel pretty good afterwards.

Summer Breeze - how did it go?

Waves, Gypsy Rose and Christina,

Donna

Hi all !!

Well we got through it! I feel fine, no aftereffects so far (we got it yesterday afternoon). We were both a little tired yesterday but nothing too out of the ordinary so it could have been anything.
Slightly sore arm, that's it. Barely noticeable. My DD unfortunately suffers from anxiety and she got an anxiety attack at the vaccine site and almost bailed out but went through with it. Then she had to lay down and they called the doctor over but she was fine after she relaxed a little bit.
We also had to go to the gp afterwards because she had an earache and she has a slight ear infection so we needed drops for that but it was totally unrelated to the vaccine just more stress. She had an eyelid infection last week so she's having a rough time but she's doing ok.

No walking yesterday, too much drama. Hoping to get out there today at some point. Oh the plumber couldn't make it today, he's finishing up a job that went over so he'll be coming next week. It never ends....

PAT, good attitude toward the snow. Nice time with Lee.

DONNA, another nice workout with Jessica V.

Waves to all. Have a great day!

Hi,

Today was a mix of:

Classical Stretch - Episode 1130

Jessica Valent - Pilates Challenge w/ Weights.

I definitely have room to grow w/ Jessica's.

I will walk later as it is a bright, sunny day.

Today was supposed to be upper body on the JS WS 1.0 rotation, but I felt like doing something else - Jessica V's included some arm work...so all good.

Waves, everyone!

Summer Breeze - I'm glad you made it through! My DD also has anxiety about getting shots - she passed out once and that made it even worse. She is a little better about it now - how are you feeling after the first dose?

Hi all !!

Yesterday was:

53 minute outdoor walk
60 kettlebell swings

Felt good to be back at it after a couple of stressful days. I got away from the kettlebell swings too when I hurt my back so those felt good too. Hoping for another walk today.

DONNA, looks like Jessica V beat out Jessica S for now. Nice job with your workouts.
I'm doing fine. Minimal effects, sore arm, maybe a tad more tired than usual.

Hi PAT, ROSE & CHRISTINA.

Have a great day!

Happy Moan Day!

I'm sorry to be MIA for a couple days. I got some disturbing news Friday. I have a sister that I've been excommunicated with for around 25 years (long story). Her daughter Messengered me Friday while I was cooking dinner to tell me that my sister is living at her home, released from the hospital to Hospice, and has maybe six months. This is going to sound very selfish but I wish she had contacted me on Moan Day, because my weekend was shot. As you can imagine it stirred up a lot of conflicting feelings and anxiety. I scheduled a telephone appointment with EAP, a Reiki session with my Reiki teacher, and a yin yoga workshop via Zoom for Friday.

Saturday we walked around the casino for a while after DH's second Pfizer shot, and yesterday I had a solo walk at the beach to clear my head. Friday, right before the message, I was feeling very good after a blend of Winsor, finishing Home Improvement and Qigong. Oh well! Life is a box of chocolates, right?

Summer Breeze, that's too bad about your daughter's anxiety attack. It sounds like she's been having a rough go of it. Good job getting back to your KBs.

Nice workouts for you Donna!

Good morning to anyone who visits today.
