Yes but more importantly it keeps the inside numbers down like BP, cholesterol, etc.

Days of cardio? One... maybe two

How long? 30-45 min (never longer)

Steady state or interval? Interval

Age? 51

I hate cardio and yoga…. I may never do the treadmill again!!

How many days do you do cardio? 6-7

How long are your cardio sessions? From 45 mins to an hour for my daily run. About 3 of those days I will add in more cardio with a workout, which could be up to an hour more.

Do you usually do steady state or some sort of interval training? Both

How old are you?: 57

Only if I also control my eating! I can easily gain a lot of weight while exercising 2+ hours a day if I can't lay off the cookies...

In a typical week:

How many days do you do cardio? 5x or 6x

How long are your cardio sessions? 3x about 60 min, 3x included in circuits

Do you usually do steady state or some sort of interval training? Step 6 and 8 inch, steady with some interval (Imax 2 etc) and kickboxing. Hitt/Drills in circuits.

How old are you?:54

CAVEAT: I do a lot of walking; I do not consider it "cardio exercise."

How long are your cardio sessions? varies 30 - 90 min as I do both videos and long outdoor walks (I do consider my outdoor walks cardio as there are lots of hills involved)

Do you usually do steady state or some sort of interval training? both

How old are you?: 50 -59

Yes I do, but everyone is different! I lost 10 lbs a couple of years ago doing long outdoor walks (10,000 steps per walk and lots of hills).
