ETA: Here is one forum member (DirtDiva, page 4, post # 40) describes her results and gives some useful advice/tips after completing the STS strength program doing STS workouts 6 times a week (very informative post) -- this is exactly how I am going to do that (if I decide to take the plunge):

How odd to see this above! (That be me.) I'm also starting on my 5th STS rotation and have decided to double up again plus do it Pyramid style. Which is Meso 1, 2, 3, 2, 1. Cathe put out her rotation for STS combining with LIS and I still need to look at that before I decide, since I've done discs 1,2,3 already this week (started Monday).

This sounds so interesting. I think I would like this better than regular 6.5 month rotation. Have you ever done this Pyramid rotation?

Here is a piece from that article:
Endomorph: Workout 2 days on, 1 day off. Go for a rep range of 12. Do about 4-5 sets for every movement. A 60 minute workout should do it.

Ecotomorph: Workout every other day. Go for a rep range of 8 or 10. Do about 3 sets for every movement. A 30 minute workout plan should be sufficient.

Mesomorph: Workout every other day as well. Go for a rep range of 8 to 12. Do about 3 to 5 sets for every movement. A 45min to a little over an hour workout should be just fine for you.

Here is an extensive workout plan for different body types

Here is an interesting post about endomorph workouts

Oh wow, maybe I'm a combination of ectomorph and endomorph. I have a hard time building muscle but the article describing the 3 body types describes ectomorphs as having an extremely fast metabolism whereby they have trouble gaining weight and the picture showed a skeletal person! I certainly don't have a difficult time gaining weight if I don't watch my portion sizes!!

I haven't! I learned about the Pyramid from Kikster on Cathe. This is from one of her posts:
Doing M1-2-3-2-1, to incorporate the "bulk/cut" factor w/o getting rid of the endurance aspect needed in the beginning in order to lift the heavier weights in the end.
I'm loving this one!

Thanks actually a really good idea. Too bad I don't like rotations bc this would be something I would like!

When I first started this rotation I was doing STS discs one after the other - just like Cathe recommends without taking the breaks - so the first week was the first 6 STS workouts from Meso 1. Lately my husband has been out of town, then he had the flu, I had a baby shower at my house, etc. so I have only been averaging 4 workouts per week. I am still getting awesome results.

I plan to continue only doing about 4 workouts per week. I love to walk in the neighborhood carrying my sweet baby boy (40 pounds) on my back. I will do that on the off days. I plan on doing the pyramid discussed as above because I love the STS workouts so much - Meso 1, Meso 2, Meso 3, Meso 2, Meso 1.

I am not really sure what my body type is. I was fat and had no muscle before. So that is one body type. Now I am all muscle and totally look different - so it seem to have changed. I really thought heavy weights bulk me, but clearly they don't.

Good luck to you all!

Help anyone! i can never seem to figure out which body type i am (ecto, meso or endo) & it's always frustrated me. How did you guys figure it out so definitively? Maybe you can tell what i sound most like by a description:
i am short (5'2") & small framed (very small wrists & smallish calves), have never had a narrow waist, seem to be an apple or ruler shape, have a broad back & shoulders, used to wear a larger size on top than on the bottom (with age it's changing a little more). Also i weigh more than most people think, i am currently 139 in a size 8. Or any accurate websites you can direct me to are appreciated. I have googled some. TIA!
