Jenny Ford

I ordered 3 Jenny Ford workouts from Total Fitness DVDs today. I’ve never done any of her workouts before. Does anyone still do the Marching workout from her Checkout Workout? I saw one review that said it was pretty repetitive, but I’m curious as that is one of the DVDs I ordered.

The marching workout is very repetitive. Lots of marching and walking up and back. I like her step workouts though. Most of them are fun and not too difficult in choreography.

I just posted about the Checkout Workout dvd in my check-in. I thought the Intervals and Marching workouts were ok the first few times I did them (maybe months in between uses), but the last time I tried them, I thought they were repetitive and boring. I like the weight workout, so I'll keep it for that.

I did the Marching with Mives workout today and I liked it. It does have a lot of matching up and back, but it had a lot more variety than I was expecting:

marching
wide marching
knee lifts
repeater knees
side steps
hamstring curls
jogging
front kicks
front kicks with a hop
side taps

I didn’t care for the background exercisers, especially Michael who was very uncoordinated.
