Simplifying ... update I have to laugh!

Well, I was blessed to see my daughter get married on the 24th. With that being behind me, I can now give more time to my mother who was recently diagnosed with mixed Vascular - Alzheimer Disease. This is going to take quite a bit of my time and effort, so I feel like I need to simplify as much as I can for a time.

I hope you're all sitting down for this... I'm actually going to use Jessica Smith streaming workouts on Youtube for the next several weeks. (I'm pretty much setting my dvds aside for now). I've been compiling a list of them that will fit my time frame and needs. Most will be 15-20 minutes. I need to be smart about my energy levels and still be able to take care of me.

I don't want to undo all the hard work I've put into the last year. I need to be able to maintain at the very least. Along with taking care of my BP. I'm in contact with a local Alzheimer RN and she's already given me some great resources.

I am still a dvd die hard, but viewing some of JS routines and time frames really fits my life right now.

The DVDs will be there.
And it's not like you are settling or anything withJessica by any means

True that. Jessica's YouTube workouts can be deceptively challenging without wiping you out, which sounds like would be just the ticket for you at this point.

TinaT, Congratulations on your daughter's wedding!

Sounds as though you've come up with a do-able plan for the time-consuming challenges ahead. Good for you to plan ahead to take care of yourself during this time! And, as fanofladyvols said, you're not compromising by doing Jessica --she can pack a lot into 15-20 min!

She has some "walk and talk"s that I find to be a good pick-me-up. There are all the usual workouts, of course, but I thought I'd mention them in case you found them to be a good thing.

I wish you well with the path you are following. Congrats on the wedding.
