Weights to failure...

What dvds do you think are good for lifting weights to failure with at least two sets?

Thanks

Cathe's Burn Sets--3rd set is to failure and there is a burn set (so for example triceps push-up, skull crushers and kick backs with 3 sets each and then burn set of band work for triceps).

First two sets are 10 reps then go to failure on 3rd set.

My first thought was Xtrain Burn Sets, too! Great weight workout!

What about P90X? Do you care if it's total body or what the split is?

Joyce Vedral. her workouts are very no-nonsense, and to the point. short & sweet.

Top Shape It's Now or Never is one of the better ones if you're new to Joyce. Daughter Marthe accompanies her. Joyce uses the pyramid system here which allows you to lift to failure.

I prefer more focus on upper but not set in stone.

I'm trying to do the same. I love Cathe strength...

What I have done is just grab something heavier than I usually lift. Then quit when I 'failed'. And I rested while Cathe finishing up her set...

Another vote for Burn Sets! You can "skip" the burn sets (exercises that are done with a band) and just do the three sets (the last one to failure) with heavier weights.

The premixes are pretty good on there too. You can do one body part per day or combine them in any way that suits your taste.

ETA: There are three sets of each exercise / three different exercises per upper body part - (2) sets with ten reps - (1) set to failure.
