Anita, thanks so much for your thoughtful response! I can definitely see those advantages. When I have attended multiple in-person classes with the same teacher in a short period of time, I've certainly noticed some of that same growth. I am going to mull over ways to incorporate this myself more.

Day 3: 1 hour+ of yin on my own with my bolsters & blankets ….forward bends, gentle backbends, hip openers, heart openers, twists

12/23/21 - Day 3 - Yoga with Kassandra Evening Yoga Movement Day 4 - Yoga for Sleep. This was a nice hatha/yin blend. There is a down dog to half pigeon sequence but I substituted transitioning from half pigeon to holding double pigeon for the down doggy stuff. One of my goals for this sadhana is to work on my double pigeon, a/k/a square pose in yin.
It is Christmas Eve morning and snowing here. Not too bad, a nice pretty coating, but I'll have to shovel later. It was supposed to stop but it's not showing signs of letting up. Have a lovely day. |
