Getting my hair done.
Wandering through a book store.
Going to visit DD and walking around campus and downtown and eventually being able to go to a college baseball game.

Not feeling guilty for driving to find what I need instead of settling for whatever I can cope with nearer the house.

I want to travel!! Don't need to go far, I just want to be ABLE to visit the cross stitch shop in New Orleans, or the BBQ joint in Mobile.

Straying far enough to visit old friends? Even better.

Getting together with my family and friends.

Eating at my favorite restaurant. Hopefully they will open again. They hadn’t been open long.

Checking out thrift stores for fitness DVDs and equipment. The finds might be plentiful, as people have been cleaning out.

Wandering through bookstores.

1.) I DESPERATELY need a hair cut! I imagine it will be hard to get an appointment because everyone will be trying to get in!

2.) Going to a restaurant.

3.) Hanging out with friends.

4.) Going to thrift stores to search for fitness stuff and mosaic supplies.

5.) Traveling outside my little neighborhood bubble.

There are several things I would like to do:

1. Go to the stores freely without a mask.

2. Get a haircut.

3. Walk in the park without worrying about distancing.

4. Go to a restaurant.

However even when restrictions are lifted and these things are allowed, I'm still not sure I will ever feel comfortable eating in a restaurant for a long time. Or traveling on an airplane. Or going to a crowded stadium for a ball game or concert.

Going out for sushi!

And, a hair appointment.

My 18 year old has a temporary crown that needs to be replaced. Really hoping it holds.....

- Seeing my dad and brother's family in Cincinnati and my MIL in Westchester. My dad and MIL are both elderly with underlying conditions and I can't risk a visit until this thing is WELL behind us.

- Traveling back to Scotland. We own a second home there and cut short our March trip when the travel ban was announced.

- Indulgent self care: hair cut and color, pedicure, really good facial

Wow, this thread really shows me how little my life has been impacted by the social distancing.

My DH cuts my hair, as it is just a simple trim. I color it myself. I don't do manicures, pedicures, facials or massages. There aren't many good restaurants around here, so we didn't eat out that much before. (There is a great Thai place a few towns away. I'll look forward to going there again.)

I have no parents, grandparents, siblings or kids to have been distanced from.

I do miss being able to order whatever I want on Amazon and getting it in a few days. I haven't ordered much as I feel bad for the driver to deliver things out here in the sticks during this crazy time.

shopping -- just going to a store and touching things to pick what I'd like to purchase

restaurants -- relaxing with my family while being served delicious food

relatives -- hanging out with parents and in-laws instead of just dropping off groceries and keeping distance

kids' activities -- my children are involved in Bible studies, theater productions, band, ROTC -- I miss running them around and chaperoning activities and hearing about their day on the way home.

teaching -- seeing my students face-to-face and getting hugs when the little ones come into the building

church -- sharing treats with my Sunday school class, hugging the people I don't see often, just being together
