I have done just a few of the workouts from Month 2 and Month 3. reason why i started in the middle was because there were arc-shaped scratches on the 2nd and 3rd disc which were housed on a hinged "leaf/page" on the inside of the case. Disc 1 and 4 were on the sides of the case and were unscratched.

My overall impressions of this set from what i've seen so far are the following:
  • very little yoga
  • Zoe works out alone and instructs in "real time" while she's doing the moves
  • Zoe looks directly into the camera when instructing, when possible
  • unweighted workouts
  • standing lunges, squats
  • floorwork in both table and bridge positions
  • floorwork in the side-lying position
  • short range-of-motion pretzels
  • many barre-type and Tonique-style moves
  • pace is lower-moderate
  • level is high-beginner
  • not too many reps per move - maybe 15 tops
  • instrumental music is quiet and non-distracting
  • indoor settings with white furnishings, walls and carpet

Zoe is enjoyable and has a sweet demeanor. she sort of reminds me of Kate Hudson, and her speaking style reminded me of the teenage "Pebbles" from the cartoon The Flintstones! ha ha - i was expecting her to shout "yabba dabba DOOzie!" at any moment. She's very motivating and has an engaging presence without being grating.

i like the pace of this workout - if you're into barre, this is for you.

i'm unclear about the rotation, but on one of the discs, she said something like:

week 1:
Monday: 1st workout
Tuesday: Rest
Wednesday: 1st + 2nd workout
Thursday: Rest
Friday: 1st + 2nd + 3rd workout
Saturday: do the Bonus workout (Cut the Fat Keep the Curves)
Sunday: Rest

not sure what happens after week 1 - i guess you repeat what i wrote above since each disc represents the workouts for 1 month.

for me, i could easily do all 4 workouts in one crack.

I think the rotation that Zoe suggests for BBC (and TBC) is:

Week 1 - Day 1 - Workout 1 - one time - 15 minutes
Week 1 - Day 3 - Workout 1 - two times (repeat) - 30 minutes
Week 1 - Day 5 - Workout 1 - three times (repeat twice) - 30 minutes

Then on the following weeks, the next workout but still keep the 15,30,45 minute

Week 2 - Day 1 - Workout 2 - one time
Week 2 - Day 3 - Workout 2 - twice
Week 2 - Day 5 - Workout 2 - three times

----
Thanks for the breakdown.

My local salvation army store has this set for sale. Each individual dvd is priced at $3 and I believe they had 5 workouts. When I first saw the workouts I searched on VF and couldn't find anything about the set. Now I see this post and wonder if I should go back and pick them up. Hmmm...what to do? I guess I should see if the store still has the workouts.

There are 4 disks in that set so it would only be $12. I haven't done BC yet, but I would pick it up for $12 or at least the Final Four Disk for $3. I previewed the first w/o on the final 4, and it was mostly floor work so a good alternative to lunges/squats. People on the YB Tribe Facebook page said there are a lot of curtsy lunges in the episodes.

This set came as 4 discs in 1 case, so i don't think you could just buy one of the discs. our Goodwill used to have that pricing policy and had applied it to boxed sets (# discs * $3 = total price).

They have since changed it to be $3 for any case regardless of how many discs. they have also adopted a BOGO policy - buy 3, get the 4th free.

Went back to the thrift store and there are 5 dvd cases of yoga burn:

Booty challenge
Trim core challenge
Total body challenge
Yoga burn
Yoga burn monthly.

Each case is a set of 4 workouts and says "premium package."

I'm going to pick up booty burn, total body, and yoga burn.

What a great deal. So is it $12 or $3 per 'system'. For that price, I would get Trim Core Challenge also.

Is Yoga Burn Monthly just the Month1 or all?
