Cold weather walking shoes

Hi, everyone.

Any suggestions on cold weather walking shoes? I try to get outside unless the wind chill is zero-I also use the hand and feet warmers.

I do have some LL Bean snow sneakers, and they work great in the snow-but I was wanting something more like Acsics or Champion or New Balance.

I need ideas for Santa

Thanks
Anita

I'm interested to see what answers you get. Now that most shoes have mesh tops I don't have any that I can wear in the winter or that keep my feet dry in the rain. I've been wearing my hiking boots.

+1. I wear hiking boots. (Besides, we've had so much rain this year on the East Coast, there is standing water everywhere. No way could I get by with wearing shoes with mesh on them.)

I have a pair of New Balance that are not mesh. I usually wear them when I am doing yard work in the winter. They are so old that the label is worn. It is an old style because my mom 10 years ago would wear the same style.

I was hoping to see some suggestions too.

We don’t get really cold weather out here on the coast, but I like my Blundstones with heavy socks for city walks & my New Balance Gortex hiking shoes for trail walks & hikes

I just checked Famous Footwear website.

New Balance has athletic shoes that have nonmesh shoes with leather uppers.

Thank you everyone-I will check out the New Balance.

I do have some Columbia thick socks that I usually wear also.

The older I get, the less I like winter

Exercised indoors today-Can tell I didn't get outside-I call the outdoors my happy hour-along with my CS
