I used to use Cindy Whitmarsh’s 10 min solution Target Toning to measure how I was doing. I’d done it enough to know how easy it ideally should be.

These days, I have a particular Jessica Smith lower body and a Kaleigh Cohen upper body that I refer to as a gauge. Also Sara Ivanhoe’s Joy of Yoga is something I come back to as a measurement tool.

It depends on what aspects of strength I am gauging. For muscle endurance, I use one of the Body Pump workouts. To assess my strength in terms of the maximum I can lift, I use free weights and machines on my own. The Firm Volume 1 is also one of my benchmark workouts, especially the floor work.

Workouts come and workouts go, but that has to still be one of the hardest floor workouts ever.

I tried to do it once and it was too much!
