Tracy Anderson Metamorphosis Continuity Omnicentric Glutecentric Hipcentric FLOOR

Does anyone just do the Floor Section? If I do other strength I don't know if I need the arms and abs section. Or does tracy anderson's stuff doing something different that it's still worth doing?

Her arm work is really effective. Even if you do more stuff the arm work really helps pull the skin to the muscles and show definition.

I'm probably not doing it right.

When I read her book it made it click. She describes reaching in to a hole in a wall to get a lost wedding ring. You can't reach any more with your body, but if you extend your arm that much farther you can reach it. Doing "that" movement while doing all her arm work BURNS. Your arms get really tired really quickly.

Not yet but I've thought about it. I feel the burn with the arm movements, but I haven't seen much in the way of results yet. For the summer I have a lot of time, so I'm taking the burn as a positive in itself and am continuing the whole video. I'm starting to add short arm workouts on different days though and later on when I'm more pressed for time, I may skip.

I used to just do the floor/legs section, but for the past couple of weeks I've started doing the entire thing. I think including the abs and arms provides a more well-rounded workout - the planks weren't enough. I'm already starting too see some definition in my arms and the stomach lines that TA talks about. But I don't really do any other strength training besides Buti, but I don't consider that to be a traditional "strength training workout." YMMV.

I have a bad habit of just doing the floor work. Once in awhile I'll do her arm and abs.
