If you do Step without the step. . .

Do you use something in place of a step, or just pretend it's there?

Even a low step aggravates my hip - but I have some cool step workouts I used to use.

you can either imagine it's there or put a piece of tape on the floor.

Stephanie Huckabee's Powerfit workouts has you place the flat stretch band on the floor as a demarcation of where you could step. she doesn't advocate using a step in this series, but you certainly can.

Wait, no - I don't really want tape on my floor - I think I can make a band work if I just don't step right on it, just use it as an outline. I will have to experiment.

I don’t do strictly step workouts anymore, but I do all the Firm step stuff in their workouts just on the floor.
