Very pretty, if my hair would look that color grey I would go grey.

I was wondering how to make the jump to grey, and I have given myself two answers.

1. keep putting a grey rinse on my hair without aluminuim and peroxide until the whole thing eventally goes grey.

2. Or wear a grey wig whilst I transition.

Now I just need to decide which route to take

I know I am in the minority but I think gray hair is aging, no matter how pretty and well maintained.

She looks gorgeous with the grey! I'm seeing some grey in my hair, but I'm mostly brown. I do color my hair mainly because the few greys I have are very coarse and stick out from the rest of my hair. I get my hair from my dad's side of the family and they don't go grey until later. Maybe I'll try letting it go natural and deal with the few greys that poke out. Hmmm...something to ponder.

I love when "celebrities" embrace their natural hair. I'm quite gray at the temples and have no plans to color it. Honestly, I'm too lazy and cheap (and also, otherwise very low maintenance).

I think she looks fabulous...but it doesn't hurt that she's naturally lovely to begin with. She could probably have literally any hairstyle and still be attractive.

Fully gray after 2 years of transition. The gray is pretty, silvery and sparkly intermixed with dark gray. My hair is healthier, thicker and softer. Love that I don't have to color.

But I look ten years older than how I looked when I dyed my hair. And I'm a bit bored with it. After two years, am I wedded to gray the rest of my life? Not yet 50 years old. Truth be told, my hair is my worst feature whether dyed or natural. It will be different for everyone. And yes I think Ellen looks gorgeous!

A woman I know took a third route: she shaved her head. Everyone thought she had cancer, of course, but eventually her hair has grown in beautifully. Actually, she may have had other reasons for shaving her head -- I don't feel I know her well enough to ask.

As for whether or not it ages..... sometimes it seems it does, but when I see all those women on the jackmartincolorist page -- wow, not aging, just gorgeous!
