Mostly OT - Bras for daily wear (not workout)

I've heard before that there are people on the fringes who believe bras to be unhealthy. Some of the arguments make sense, but my aging breasts need support to be in public. So I wear one when I go out of the house.

However, with the recent snowpocalypses we have had, I wasnot able to be bothered to put on a bra underneath my layers to shovel snow unless I was planning on going out after shoveling. (I had to shovel daily to keep it from getting too out of hand.) I've noticed that on days I did it without a bra, it is a *lot* easier - I can do a lot more faster, and feel less tired than when I do wear a bra.

I've been fitted by a professional fitter, so that isn't that. I don't know what to do about this. I'm now starting to feel much more aware of the discomfort of wearing a bra even when I'm not shoveling snow, but don't want to stop wearing a bra for vanity reasons. (I have that much of a need for social acceptance to continue wearing a bra in public.)

Does any one have any thoughts/experiences/ideas about this?

Ok I'm part of that fringe and I'm very busty...36G. When I have to conform bralettes can stop movement and give a gentle lift. This http://www.hanes.com/shop/hanes/wome....google.com%2F is pretty cozy also. My shoulders still ache at the end of the day though ☹️.

I buy VS lounge bras. I went through breast cancer about 8 years ago and my scars were always irritated by underwires. Not to mention the area where it had been radiated. But with lounge bras I don't notice this at all!

Maidenform t-shirt bra, underwire. I'm a 36b and this style seems to work for me.

Has anyone ever tried ThirdLove bras? I keep having their ads pop up when I'm online. I've considered trying them, but they are pretty expensive!

I don't like underwire bras, fell like I have a cage strapped to me. This wire free WonderBra is my favorite for every day. https://www.wonderbra.ca/products-pa...-casual/w2483/
For workouts and walking/hiking I wear something similar to Donna's Coobie.

Me too. I love them, so comfortable, not restrictive, good enough support, lots of colors. I never wear anything else.

It's not just that wires are uncomfortable. Energetically they cut off the energy in your meridians running up and down your body. Back when I had underwire bras one day I cut them and removed all the wires and found not only greater comfort and ease, but still had plenty of support without them, and felt like my energy was no longer cut in half.
