Padded Sports Bras for the Limited Endowed :)

Hi all! Need some help finding new sports bras. I am fairly small on top (maybe between an A and B cup, if such a thing exists). Here's the criteria:
  • Although I'm small, would like something with support. Most of my cardio consists of plyo, HIIT, step, kickboxing, and hi/low so I guess moderate support? I do not run.
  • MUST be padded. This is not vanity. If I decide to go and workout in public, I would rather my high beams not show, if you get what I mean.
  • Would like something that fairly good at wicking away moisture
  • NEED to have something I can wash in the washing machine that won't pill, pull, stretch, shrink, or bunch up.
  • Would prefer something I can get in the store, not online, unless the sizing is fairly spot on.

Any ideas? Thanks so much!

I'd say check out the Champion ones at Target -- they definitely have some padded ones. If you didn't mind trying on-line, I like the Handful bra, though it may not be enough support for plyos -- I actually wear it as my every day bra.

I've had some for years and they've held up really well, but I don't ever put them in the dryer -- they do dry very quickly. If you're at all interested, I will send you my measurements and tell you that I wear size M.

I have a padded sports bra from Target that works great - it's similar to one I have from Athleta for a fraction of the price. You're supposed to remove the pads when you wash them, but I just leave them in and straighten them out before I air-dry them. I always wash my workout wear on the gentle cycle in cold water.

I am small like you, and the size small is great for me.

Danskin at Wal-Mart has some good ones too that fit your description. The ones I like are about $12.00 and the support holds up through rebounding.

Lululemon makes many variations of support bras, you might try there. I am a-b size and like the flow y bra from there. If you choose colour that hides "faded and a bit dingy", the bra lasts for years.

I am small too and I wear stretchy bras similar to these. If I am doing impact workouts I double them up and it works well for me. I can rebound and feel supported. I have bought them at Winners & Marshalls here in Canada, similar to TJ Maxx or Ross in the US.

I swear by the Champion T-shape sports bras. They last forever! I've bought most of mine at Marshall's or TJ Maxx. I check every time I shop those places. I've also picked up a few at Dick's Sporting Goods although they are more expensive there. It seems like they're getting harder to find. Most of the bra tops I see when out shopping have the removable pads that float all over the place. Way too much trouble to deal with!

I will second Bee's suggestion! Maybe a little pricey but totally worth it: Handful bras.

I must say that I tried Handful and was very disappointed. Bad shape (for me) and no support (for me). I gave them away on share the wealth.

When a pullover stretchy is not enough, I like Moving Comfort's Luna bra. I bought the first one after trying on a choice of sizes in an athletic wear store. I think the band runs a little small. Once I knew my size, I bought the rest on ebay.
