Mari Winsor's new system with The Accelerator..........

Mari's new informercial package looks pretty tempting,especially for someone like me who is becoming more and more interested in Pilates

For those of you who already have the new WinsorSlim system, how do you like the Accelerator? is it worth the money? My biggest concern is the door attachment, how often is the door attachment necessary? I don't have a door anywhere near my T.V. so door attachments are pretty much out for me, all of our doors inside the house are along our narrow hallway.
I am hoping the door attachment isn't used in all the workouts

Would love to hear some opinions about this series

I posted about this on a previous thread that quickly dropped off the main page. Here's what I wrote about it:

I just got these recently and I have to say I really like them! I am one who has never really clicked with pilates but was totally enabled here on VF.

Here's the lowdown on the (approximate) times...I got the deluxe version but haven't previewed everything:

DVD1: SuperFast Body Blast - 20 minutes, no door attachment
DVD2: Cardio Sculpt - 20 min, no door attachment
Burn & Firm Pilates - 20 minutes - no door attachment
DVD3: ABsession - 20 minutes, have not previewed yet

Rapid Results Pilates
Workout 1: On the go Pilates - uses door attachment
Workout 2: Bootcamp Express - does not use door attachment

Power Pilates - 52 minutes - have not previewed

Pilates of the Fit & Famous - 4 10-minute workouts: Cardio Pilates, Total Body, Lower Body, and Abs. Not sure if it uses door attachment

*During the Burn & Firm Pilates, several of the moves reminded me of the moves from her Buns & Thighs workout (that I never did), only it uses the resistance cord.

I'm glad I got it, I will actually use it, and for someone that normally doesn't care for pilates, I enjoyed it.

I've mostly done Cardio Sculpt but for what I got (TONS of workouts with it!), I don't feel like my money was wasted at all. For someone that's done a lot of pilates, especially with Mari Winsor, perhaps they'd think differently. If I could do it over again, would I purchase the system again? Yep.

P.S.-I don't have a door handle readily available, so I probably won't be doing the On the Go Pilates DVD unless I am actually on the go and travelling where there will be a door handle nearby!

seems only that one on-the-go workout uses the door attachment and that's great news (I think) because how much the door attachment is used would be a deal breaker for me.
I may eventually cave on this set, especially since the price has come down

Judy, I saw the infomercial this weekend and noticed the price in my area dropped to two payments, as well.

I just saw part of this infomercial yesterday, and I just have to have it!

I have always liked pilates, but I dont do it as often as I should. Mari is my favorite pilates instructor. I just really like the look of this set. It is something I would travel with as well, I think. It is definitely on my wish list!

Well I ordered this directly from the website and to my surprise it is through "gtmediausa"...yup...good ol' Goodtimes!! No wonder I haven't been charged yet after 2 weeks and I can't get a hold of Customer Service.

Right now i'm just waiting and hoping that it will show up eventually but considering my past problems with Goodtimes I won't be shocked if it doesn't. I did get a confirmation e-mail when I originally ordered but I haven't heard a thing since.

Does Gaiam own Goodtimes now? I found these Mari Winsor Accelerator workouts on Youtube for rent at $2.99 each. They are on the Gaiam page:

I didn't realize Youtube had video rentals.

Does anyone want to try renting a video?
