Vannie, those are wonderful ideas to memorialize your mom. The runner will be a real treasure.

We had a lot of rain this morning. It was cold and the power went out so we fired up the wood stove. Blue sky is trying to peek through the clouds now but no walking today....too slippery.

I've been walking every day otherwise, sometimes twice a day. I almost traded my dog in for a guinea pig earlier this week. She was soooo naughty two days in a row...so many Springtime scents and just totally blew me off. Can't even remember when she's done that so bad. So I've been doing a lot of short obedience recall sessions with her both before, during and after the walk and it's going so much better. So glad....I really don't want a guinea pig.

I've been finding some good exercises on youtube channels Redefining Strength and Jill Miller Tune Up Fitness. For a while, I thought Jill's new directions were not my cup of tea but she's turning out to be a "go to" again. Yay!

I made it home yesterday. Feeling very tired and not up for talking. Looking forward to resuming normal walks.

Glad you're home safe and sound Vannie. One step at a time.

Vannie, I'm glad you made it home safely. My grandmother, mom, daughter and I embroidered quilt blocks. I put them together for my daughter for her college graduation. My quilting skills are meh, but the quilt was a labor of love.

I hope her students find the rocks.

Hugs to everyone.

Three walks today finally, although none were very long or fast. Much nicer weather than AZ, although it was 71 this afternoon and we were both still hot. I watched TV all day, including a 1987 Twins game where they won the ALCS to secure their spot on the World Series. I unloaded the car but didn't unpack much and I crocheted some.

Thanks, guys. Dawna, that's cool about the family made quilt. I hope her students find the rocks too. I haven't checked her FB page since Sunday night.

Vannie, I'm glad you made it home safely. It sounds like you had some good walks.

It's cooled off here, only 89 today, if you can believe it. Lows in the 60's. I'm enjoying it, it's my favorite weather.

I've been doing the Jessica Smith Calm and Strong rotation. This is the last week. I haven't done all the workouts, but it gives me a good framework.

Sherry, oh sure, it drops below 100 after I leave!

Today was Cyric's 3rd birthday. I feel bad, I didn't even have the energy to play with him much. He seemed pretty mopey this evening. Probably misses my dad, his best buddy. He also doesn't sleep much on the road though so he slept soundly a lot today. I guess he needs a little bounce back time too.

I will start focusing on my goals again on Monday. I can't believe the month is half over already.

Vannie, isn't that how it always works, lol. It's 93 today, but supposed to get into the high 90's this weekend.

Happy Birthday to Cyric!

I only did my PT exercises and day 15 of Kassandra's Morning Yoga Movement today. I had planned to run, jump rope and do a CS episode too but I had to get groceries and frankly it left me more tired than it used to! It was also hubby's comp day so he only worked in the morning. I'm much less likely to accomplish things when I can sit and watch TV with him. I actually fell asleep for about half an hour before our second walk.
