Cathe Step Boss Imax 4 or PHA

Hi!
I’m debating between these two. Is one less complex choreography?
I like step but I’m better with less complex step. Can you let me know your thoughts on these two (pros , cons, fun factor, intensity ,etc). I’m thinking of adding one to the new preorder.
TIA!!

Edited: I see that PHA3 has very little stepping involved — I’d still appreciate your input
On these two!

None of Cathe's PHAs have any stepping involved. They each use the step as a prop: one foot on the step while you lunge on or off, one hand on the step while you row with the other arm, lie on step while doing triceps extensions, etc. The cardio part of the workout comes from moving quickly from one exercise to another, and alternating between lower and upper body strength moves.

IMAX4 is step cardio.

I much prefer PHA3 to IMAX 4. It is hard to compare them though because PHA3 is a weight workout and IMAX4 is purely step. It’s intermediate stepping. I love, love IMAX2 and 3. I found 4 to be ok but I feel no compulsion to do it again. It’s shorter at 45 minutes if you’re looking for that. The music and the steps aren’t nearly as fun as IMAX2 and 3 though. I enjoy all of Cathe’s PHA workouts. PHA3 is a sweaty enjoyable experience like the other two PHAs are for me.

Of this new set, I'll use PHA 3 the most and really love it! Like the other posters said, it is NOT step, so if you're really looking for a step workout, then go with Imax 4. Or you could get both!

I can't comment on Imax 4 but PHA3 is excellent!! You use the step but it is not a cardio step workout. In fact there are no cardio blasts or anything like that. It's all strength work. However your HR will go up due to the slightly faster pace and of course the leg work will raise HR too.

FUN workout, no boredom, plenty of challenge especially if you go heavier. I am very happy with this purchase! Now I'd like to get Imax 4. Sounds fun too.

IMAX 4 is more enjoyable for me. The PHA workout is tough and gets the job done but really had no fun factor for me. It also depends if you want weights or just cardio since IMAX is all cardio.

Thank you all for you input!! I ended up being PHA3. It arrived this week and
I did the lower body premix. It was really fun ! I liked all the moves.
