Greetings from Bari, italy! First port of call. Obviously we found a cafe with WiFi.

Train back to Verona, then a bus then train to Maestre for a night. Sunday onto the cruise ship & met up with our friends.

Today wandering through the old city. Soon off to visit a castle.

Sunday-4000 plus.
Monday so far 5000 plus.

12/14 - 5K run/walk. It was drizzling and I haven't had a good night's sleep in a while, so I struggled with this one.
12/15 - just a dog walk, which I would count if it were longer than 30 minutes (my own arbitrary rule).
12/16 - JS's 6 Mile Mix, Power Abs (per rotation), plus Steady State mile. Turns out I had 4 days left, NOW I have 3!

Gotta get dinner going, hope to chat later.

Tues 12/17 - Jessica Smith YouTube - 1 Mile Walk and Talk: How Accountability Can Help with Goal Achievement and her Ten Minute Flexibility Training Workout. I really like these walk and talks. The time goes by fast.

December: 17/31

Cleda - I got a message from Amazon that my copy of Downton Abbey shipped. I should get it in a few days. Did you get yours yet?

Hello everyone!

Dec 14:
~ETV: Express Posture
~Barlates: Endurance 80 Body Burner - This was definitely a workout, but not as intense as the title suggests. There were a couple of wrist-y segments I modified & I also kept some of the movements smaller. It was a nice length at about 30 min with a short stretch at the end.
~headstand, toe sit, upper back acupressure, & 30 min of yin stretches while watching anatomy videos on YT for my level 3 Essentrics training.

Dec 15:
~3 km walk
~Leslie’s Tone Every Zone Upper Body Circuit - I got this from my Secret Santa & it’s a good one. The circuits are 20 min & cover all the bases.
~Headstand, toe sit, upper back acupressure, & an hour of yin while watching more anatomy videos.

Dec 16:
~TERD - I was busy with prep for our annual tapa night & Bad Santa gift change. I did get a much needed reclined hip & leg stretch before my guests arrived.

Today’s workouts:
~Essentrics class
~Yin yoga class by the fire....complete with toe sit

Sorry for my lack of personals lately, I’ll be back to chat tomorrow....
Waves to all!

for FIVE weeks. Yeah, we don't get that 3 months business, but we DO get those little 2-weekers 3x throughout the year.

CLEDA
The LITE Cardio Party is NOT hard, at ALL! If you have it you should have a got - you'll be surprised that it's not your typical Cathe.

PAM
No need to apologise for no personals - sometimes we do, sometimes we don't have the time, and .... maybe.... sometimes we just don't want to.

MENA
I've never done a walk & talk of Jessica's - must try one.

DAFFIE
Well done on 'every day so far'!
Are you officially joining us? Do I need to find a welcome picture for you?

LILI
I'm liking the 30min rule. Bit that way myself.
Hope your sleep issues resolve - the sound of rain is wonderfully soporific for me.

KAY
Loving the updates - we can travel vicariously.

ME

Kathryn (buddy) due in 7 minutes. Have selected (well, the computer did):
Kathy - Secrets of a Great Body - Upper + Lower Mix 73min

Tuesday was Rudy - Yoga Warrior 365 - Returning Warrior
no misses yet, (IF) I include two days of only dog walking, but they were long walks at a brisk pace.

Opps - she's due in ONE minute, & I'm still in my school clothes.
WAVES!!

Oh... can you tell I'm HAPPY?!?!

My own little break ...

From PZ that is ... not 5 weeks - but 4 and I kinda feel like Helen! I still have a tiny bit more to go 5 workouts??? (Including the DREADED FTP test) But it's ok. There's light at the end of the tunnel....

Helen: Maybe I will pull that one out and do it on my break from PZ training. It could be a nice change of pace. I'll have to write it down and go look for it. Cuz I Do, indeed have the LITE series. Love your bouncy emoji. My style. Totally.

Pam: definitely fine if you have no time for shout outs. . . we get it.

Waves to all - must check in and get to work. I'm kinda tired .

12/16/2019:
Sam Yo's Rock Ride - I started out to do a themed holiday ride and before I knew it, I was doing a ROCK RIDE. LOL. Slightly different. I just couldn't face a PZ workout on this Monday. I needed the change of pace. This is my second ride with Sam and I think I like his style. We'll see.

12/17/2019: Power Zone workout with Matt - 45 minutes + a stretch. I improved a lot since doing it 6 months ago. (See attached comparison graph). Everything is up except for average heart rate, which is lower!!! Life is good. Not sure what the dip was in June? Maybe dropped something? Who knows??

I'm now curious (although not anxious) to see what my improvement might be on my FTP test.

Make it a great day!

Wed 12/18 - Jane Fonda - Easy Going Workout. So this isn't a workout I would do a lot but sometimes I'm in the mood for some 80s workout nostalgia .

Helen - Hooray for vacation !!!

Kay - Greece is the only country I've been to. I would love to go back but probably won't. (As I'm thinking about it now, that was 25 YEARS AGO!! Holy cow!!!!) You're definitely getting your steps in.
