Firm Complete Aerobics and Weight training... DONE!
I like this one. I have written on it "should be volume 7!" and it is good, but I'm not sure I agree with me
I think it could be like a volume because of the step ups that kill you, and the fact that it's full body. However, they called "4 limb" where they had heavy weights in your hands and did overheads with squats. They didn't alternate upper with lower body work like the volumes do, and they added in kickboxing, which I can't see being in a volume. However, it does date the workout IMO. I got burnt out on kickboxing when it was in style
I do like the full body workout, and she does have you do 3 sets of exercises for each muscle group. That is a good thing. I don't like the use of the sculpting stick for pullovers while you are laying down, so I used my 8 pound weights. I do like the sculpting stick for helping with step ups though!!
I used my 15's as heavy weight since they do lower reps in this one, 8's for lighter weights, 5's for tricep kickbacks, and 3's for the twigs. Overall, I liked the workout!
I ended up playing badminton with LB for about an hour, then about 1/2 hour of frisbee last night. So I also got over 12k steps in yesterday! Today I am cleaning and moving stuff around in my kitchen. We got the stay in place order that takes effect tomorrow, and DH has some R95 masks from his shop that he is donating to the dentist two doors down from him today and took LB with him. I am a little afraid of being locked in the house until April 17 (when the stay in place order is done) with a 7 3/4 year old, but if DH takes her to the shop or out to his office or something every now and then, it might be more doable.
Everyone is out walking, and the dogs are so excited to go outside and stay outside the whole day!! They come in once or twice for food, then run back out. We live on a triangle piece of property, with roads on 2 sides of the triangle. The dogs love to run along side the fence on those 2 sides when cars go by and also when people walk by. People are all over the place out walking, and the dogs are having a blast walking them!! Their days are so exciting right now. Usually we get about 5-7 walkers a day. Now we easily get 20-30!
The days have been a bit warmer, so I am opening the windows and letting the air in. I think once we get into a routine, it'll be easier. Right now it's daunting knowing that we CAN'T go out, whereas before if we were in the house for a few days, at least we COULD go out if we wanted. it's psychological, I'm sure.
We are keeping abreast of the changes to mandates, we are stocked up and ready to stay in the house for a few weeks if need be, I pulled out cookbooks to cook and hopefully make us not miss going out!
Eventmom: WOW. Our restaurants have been closed for probably a week and a half, two weeks now!! I'm sure it's regional, however I'm surprised with schools closed that they aren't closing restaurants and bars. I don't even know what to say! Maybe your state has less cases than ours? I know New York is handling it different than we are, but I think we aren't too far behind them. It's scary to think how fast it can travel. The few cases I have heard of the people are miserable while they are sick, but recovered. I hope that's the trend!!
All our restaurants are now take out, or they will deliver to your car and you order/pay in advance. They've even OK'ed restaurants to sell alcohol that way too. Most stores are closed, and when we went out yesterday, there was so little traffic on the road it reminded me of driving 20 years ago before Colorado boomed. It was kinda nice! I hope after this is done a lot of companies keep people working from home that can.
Ebianco: I hope you are doing well!! We miss you!!!
