Cathe CTX

Every time I do one of these workouts I wonder why I thought I need thousands of dollars worth of other workouts - these suit my current workout regimen perfectly - I can do her cardio or walk outside or whatever and then do the great short strength work.

Didn't Cathe do a workout or set recently that followed the same pattern of short cardio/short strength?

Of course the answer to my question above is I crave variety, yes I do!

4D Split

You might be thinking of 4D split. It was 4 works with 30 min of cardio followed by 30 min of weight work. It's a gem!

Oh, right, I have that one and love it - haven't done it in a while. I also like to use the segments or High reps combined with various cardio workouts - I usually do just one muscle group per day.

X-Train can also be done as short cardio/short strength. See page 11 of the X-train user's guide.

Thanks for this! This would be a handy option to make a five day rotation. Splitting up the cardio/strength like on page 11 and then doing a total body weight training on the 5th day. Hmmm....

Ah yes, that's what I was thinking of. I have Burn Sets but have not used them - All I've done from the series is the Low Impact Hiit, which I love. All or part of that workout could be used with add-ons from Burn Sets. Thanks for the idea!
