Love working out with old friends.

I just re-purchased, Firm Upper Body parts and just finished it. Man was it great to workout with familiar faces. I'm shaking and tired in such a good way. I can't use the weights I did when I was in shape, but I'm fighting to get back there.

What is your familiar, old friend workouts you enjoy?

Anything Christi Taylor or Jari Love. Amy Bento too. The Firm are "new" old friends for me

Charlene Prickett and her entire crew. I always felt like I knew them because they would discuss things happening in their lives while they worked out. I referred to Charlene as my friend and my husband would even comment that I was working out with my friend when he would walk by the living room.

Whenever I do an old Charlene workout it feels so nostalgic.

I started with Jillian Michaels. Not sure that would be much of a feel good for me, lol.

I do get nostalgic when I do an older Jessica Smith workout on You tube.

I started the thread b/c I have always struggled venturing too far from what I know. I keep telling myself I need to brand out and do all kinds of different methods and get to know other instructors. But in the end, I come back home to what I know.

Like Jeannine, I too am on a virgin rotation. I am enjoying doing this for now but I know the pull of the familiar is not far on the horizon. When the time comes it will be my old friends The FIRM, Cathe and KC-M calling me.

For old familiar favorites, I like Kathy Smith’s March to Fitness and Jane Fonda’s Complete Workout.

For a not so old feel good workout I like the YOUv2 workouts. I never have to talk myself into doing one of those and they always make me feel good.

Instructors that I always liked working out with are Leslie and her old crew (not the new bunch), Kimberly Spreen, Michelle Dozois especially when she was with Tracy York - they work great together (Breakthru series).

For me it's the older Cathe workouts with Cedie, Brenda, Lorraine, Jai and Rhonda. I like the newer folks too but the original crew I feel familiar with.
