Joining the party. Barre 3 seems to be a good fit for me right now. Do you guy do these daily or do you mix with Cardio or other workouts?

Just did Cardio Power with Andrew (60 minute) and LOVED it. My heart rate stayed up the entire time.

Most days I just do Barre3. I probably need to add a little bit of cardio though to make my heart doctor happy.

This tread is exactly what I need right now. I have a subscription to B3, but I got away from doing the workouts after January Challenge because I found the workouts can bother my knees. Now I know that I should stay away from "challenges" and just do workouts at my own pace instead of trying to keep up with someone else's schedule. When I did Barre3, I really enjoyed the workouts so this month I'll try to incorporate them back into my schedule but probably no more that 2 times per week, unless it's just their 10 min core/abs, glutes and upper body workouts.

Would it help if you worked higher?

Yes, I'm sure it would. In fact, I probably should not even try to be on the balls of the feet because that's what puts even mores stress on my quads and knee joints. Next time I do one of the workouts (probably Wednesday), I'll try to work higher and see what happens. Thanks, Carol!

That's what I do when I go through a spell of fussy knees and it helps me.

I'm using Cassey Ho's PIIT28 1,0 right now with doing some barre3 everyday. It's my ultimate love handle, batwing, just core solution.. I think it's the generally total body emphasis with the engaged core that really helps me.. shrink (slowly) and sweat. I have gotten to the shakes and quakes stage now all the time..

Yesterday I did half of Harper's new Centred Strength.. just excellent instruction and toning without OVERKILL. It just gets the job done.

I'm doing Barre3 workouts like 3-4x per week, and adding in cardio on the alternate days - or sometimes a shorter cardio if I do a 30 minute barre3 workout. I'm just mostly doing Leslie and Jessica for cardio walking/jogging.

I haven't been doing it long enough to speak of any major "results" yet but I feel really good doing this.

This sounds like a wonderful plan! I feel low on energy these days and in need of some 'feel good' workouts! Barre 3 (and SBF) always gives me that and I love walking daily with either Leslie or Jessica!

Thanks for reviving this thread! (I just did Energy Flow, followed by Tone & Balance; Core & Stretch. Both felt great!)
