Ah, Pat. Were you the one who first mentioned UFYH here a few months ago? I wanted to thank you (or whoever it was). I follow the plan somewhat loosely, but it has worked pretty well for me. So thanks!

The book was a big help - mostly in helping me not feel so bad.

Yes. I'm so happy it's working for you. Loosely is better than not at all.

Plagued with lots of health issues, I got in just a few. One of the biggest ones is that I gave up soda (again). I stopped before Thanksgiving 2018 and have been soda free ever since. Let me tell you, my stomach is much happier! Although, my mouth misses the taste.

I no longer beat myself up with taking naps. I was diagnosed with mild narcolepsy along with really bad sleep apnea (85 episodes per hour!!!). So, I take a medication for the narcolepsy and have a CPAP for the apnea. I hate the machine. I wear it out of guilt because not only does my doctor see my results, the insurance company monitors it as well and will take it away if I don't use it like 70+% of the time. I wake up, usually, without any headaches now but that's about all I can feel from using the CPAP. My husband says I don't snore at all.

Thank you, I loaded it to my Kindle. I want to learn more about this especially for my joint pain.

I am going to recommend this to my boss. She could use this.

I'm looking this up! I need all the help I can get. Also saw that Chalene Johnson has a new declutter podcast on this.

I started a daily pilates practice. My yoga practice has shortened but remains primarily as a stretch. Once or twice a week I sneak in a little extra yoga.

Five weeks ago, I bought a year's subscription to Sam Harris' Waking Up Meditation program. So far I've done a ten minute meditation every day. I still don't have a lot of patience for meditation, but I've been able to stick with the shorter sessions so far. I'm hoping it'll help me lower my blood pressure which has been creeping up this year.
