This looks good, but I just ordered her yoga workout and strength series, so I will kindly await the reviews for this first.

Well, I ordered. I hope she shows a few modifications, but it looks good from the clips.

hi,

There are two workouts as mentioned before. The first workout is is body weight only.
There are two segments with six exercises each. You do a floor ab move, plank /push up variation, cardio move, floor ab, plank/push up, cardio and repeat again. it's non stop.
45 seconds on/ 15 off. It's tough, but do able. She does a push up move that i've never seen and gets some air! wow.

The second routine is with weights. I quickly watched it. Looks good. same format as above but i didn't see a cardio move. looked like two floor moves with weights and one standing move. I look forward to trying it.

It is tough, but i think you can do different things with it. Definitely a good add on.
hope that helps some!

I received my dvd yesterday. I previewed the warmup & workout 1 this morning. I am going to try & add it on to something this week, maybe Jessica Smith's Weight Loss Cardio Mix or her Cardio abs. Anyway, here's a breakdown:

The warmup is 2:50 long, & it is pretty ab specific, it has planks, cobra, groaners (where you're in plank & bring your foot to the outside of your hand) & some squats.

Workout 1:

Chapter 3-2: Hollow Body crunches (you extend arms & legs hovering over floor, then bring them in together)

Elbow Plank with Alternating side planks

Skaters

Reverse crunch with leg lowering

Straight arm plank with knees to (same side) elbows with a pushup

In & Out Squat jumps

Chapter 3-3 (6:24)

Repeat the first circuit

Chapter 3-4 (12:27)

"X" outs (body hovers in an X on your back, then you pull in arms & knees)

Back Extension then a power pushup (Eek!)

Lateral squat hops (you stay in squat position & hop side to side)

Single leg V-ups

Elbow plank with knee tucks

Half Burpees

Chapter 3-5 (18:31)

Repeat second circuit, but do competition burpees

This takes the workout to 24:32, then she does some breathing & wide leg forward bend to 25:16 & talks to 25:30.

This looks good & doable, plus, it's chaptered! Also, there's a countdown timer on the bottom left corner of the screen that is very easy to see. Zuzka says it's 45 seconds on, 15 seconds rest, but the rests looked shorter to me.

I received mine yesterday and did workout #1 just now.

The break downs by Jennifer and Julie tell you all you need to know in that regard.

My opinion: It's good. It's not the greatest ever, but I'd rate it at high intermediate. I do a lot of ab work though, so none of the moves were new to me. (Except that back extension with the push up into the air.... I've never seen that one!) A lot of them I do regularly with Bob Harper, Jillian, Cathe, and others, so that may be why they weren't that difficult. I am probably going to do the second workout after lunch.

All in all a good buy for me. I don't know how often I'll do it though... maybe as an add-on, as suggested by someone else.

ETA: Just finished workout #2. I think I like this one better than the first one. She uses weights and there is no cardio. I think it focuses more directly on the abs than the first one. Maybe I like it better because I honestly don't need extra cardio with all the running I do.
