You don't have to go to a sleep lab for diagnosis as there is a machine you can use at home that measures pulse, breathing, etc. You wear for two nights and your doc downloads the data later. Some insurance pays.

These two treatments look good.
Full Breath Solution Scroll down to see a pic of device. Very simple http://fullbreathcorporation.com/ Here is one study which recommended it: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19455922 This is more expensive but longer lasting and nothing to wear https://www.fotona.com/en/treatments/2039/nightlase-r/

I've been using my CPAP with full mask for almost three months now. I saw my doctor on Tuesday and she was very pleased with how I've been using it and that my stats were looking very good to her. I did buy a special pillow to use for side sleeping:
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...0?ie=UTF8&th=1 That has helped quite a lot, although I still wish I didn't have to wear that awful mask. I'm getting used to it, but still...it's not super comfortable and I just don't feel like I can really relax as much as I should be able to. Oh, well. I'm not going to feel sorry for myself. I have been so very blessed in my life. I'll deal with this. I'm not sure what to think about other options like a mouthguard or surgery. The CPAP is working for me and my doctor wants to me to keep using it for at least the next six months. I might think about trying something different after that, depending on how things are going at that point. In the meantime, losing weight (she recommended that I lose at least 20 pounds) is in my future. Maybe that will help with my sleep apnea problem! Donna
