I have 2. One is a twisting vine of forget-me-nots along the top of my foot. Two are blue and one is purple. I got it after my mother died, and purple was her favorite color.

My other tattoo is a black and white Celtic tree of life on my upper back, just below the base of my neck.

I got one long before it was popular, in my twenties. Somehow I thought I’d always be young & hip, lol. Thankfully, it’s feminine -hearts and flowers, two of my favorite symbols. It’s on the inside of my wrist, the skin there is still reasonably taut, but the colors have faded a bit.

My daughter and I planned to get tiny tattoos on the base of our necks a couple years ago.. Now, I am more concerned about it’s risks, along with the healing process on aging skin.

I have one. It is my dog's paw print and name. I got it on the inside of my left forearm after she died.

I never thought I would get one but losing her was almost unbearable and I wanted to do something to always have her with me. I love it but also would probably only get another one if it had that much meaning to me.

My BIL is a tattoo artist so he designed mine and did the tattooing.

Tell us what you get.

My DH has an old tattoo from the Marines.

When I was in my early 20's, I had a second piercing put in my ear. That was considered wild and crazy back then. Now, folks have piercings everywhere!

I had one and got rid of it. Long story.

I would like to get a discrete one but then the other side of my brain talks me out of it. I want to get the purple ribbon representing autoimmune disease.

Things that talk me out of it are: I have enough physical trophies from RA, I'm 60 years old and at this point don't have any cute peek-a-boo places left, and why the heck would I want to remind myself on a good day.

Small and delicate (or so they promised). Infinity symbol connecting a heart and a pawprint - just below my inside ankle. I had my navel pierced when I was 45 - this is my welcome-to-Medicare rebelliousness, I guess.

I voted.

No I do not. I have never desired to have one. I work at not judging those who do and I am getting better at that. I am just not a fan of them.

My nephew just married this beautiful girl. She has a lot of tattoo's. I am not saying she is still not beautiful but I do feel her excessive tattoo's take away from her natural beauty. Her features are very delicate and I felt her tattoo's made her appearance more hard, tough looking.

I have seven. All in places that I can cover if I need to.
I got my first one when I was 40 ( I am 52 now)
Among them are a patch of small butterflies on my wrist
(Daughter and daughter in law had the same put on theirs)

The last one that I had done was about 5 years back on my inner arm that I
Refer to as my Zen Angel

A very very cool cat design. IM debating wheather on sholder or on middle of the neck. Suggestion? What are you getting?
