For Cathe - Kick/punch/crunch

I disagree about starting off with MMA boxing. Although not difficult, Cathe assumes that the exerciser is familar with the combinations.

Tae Bo is a good beginner kickbox. Billy Counts out everything and it's a slower workout. There are a lot of Tae Bo workouts to choose from.

If it's still in print Tae Bo Gold would be perfect. Or, Weight Watcher's Punch as it has 3 different levels to work on.

I have Tae Bo Gold on DVD for my region-free player (bought it from Amazon.uk.co). I bet you can still buy used VHS copies.

How about Kathy Smith's Cardio Knockout, which has both kickboxing and boxing? Amazon sells used copies cheaply but here's a clip: http://www.collagevideo.com/workout-...-knockout-7714

I'd recommend Gilad's Cardio Strike - it's the one that convinced me that I can do Kickboxing. It's part of the Quick Fit set but maybe you can find it stand-alone on eBay. Or just get the whole set - totally worth it!

There's the Patricia Moreno one - I think it's called Kickbox Core Crosstrain. She has such great form, it's not very intense and the scenery is fantastic.

I agree. I don't see anything about Cathe's workouts as starting off easy.

I think Les Mill's Combat might be a good choice. It is a set that includes 5 (I think) kickboxing workouts (plus 2 hiit workouts.)

The workouts can become more intense as you get to know them, but they are very controlled. There is a modifier in all the workouts, so you can skip any impact.

Plus the music is great (if you turn on the music louder option). All real songs and a lot of fun.

Cathe's MMA Kickboxing and MMA Boxing would also be ok choices as well, if you are familiar already with kickboxing. They are pretty moderate in intensity, especially if you skip the drills.

I second this suggestion. It is perfect for restarting.

I think one of the workouts on KCM's soon to be released kickboxing workout is supposed to be slower (handweights are used though).
